Careers

The BSM Careers Programme

The school has a strategic approach to Careers. The programme starts in Key Stage 3 with raising awareness, develops in Key Stage 4 with specific work experience, and culminates with university choices and targeted careers advice in the Sixth Form. As BSM Alumni, students continue to benefit from the school's mentoring programmes and careers network after they leave school.

The BSM Careers Programme

Careers Fair and Work Experience

The Friends of BSM, our parents' group, helps to organise an annual Careers Fair.  Over 50 professionals representing a wide range of careers and recruited from our parent and alumni bodies, give expert advice to our students from Years 10 to 13. Follow the link below to volunteer.

Our Year 10 students then start preparing for their Work Experience placement in the Summer Term. If you might be able to offer Work Experience opportunities to our students or alumni, please follow the link below to offer opportunities to our students.
