Talented Athletes Support (TAS) Programme
The BSM Physical Education department is aware of the challenges faced by some of our most elite student athletes. We support these students through our Talented Athlete Support (TAS) programme and our talented athlete register.
If your child competes at the regional, national or international level in their sport, please email Mr Reilly, with the following details:
- child's name
- class
- sport
- level (regional, national or international)
- name of club training commitment (number of times per week)
These details will then be entered on to the register, to allow us to provide those students with the best possible support.
Ballet Competition
Hedda finished in first place with her ballet group in an International Classic and Contemporary Dance Competition, taking on a lead role in their performance
Chess Championship
Well done to Allegra for winning the U14 female category of the Legnano City Youth Chess Tournament, qualifying for the National Youth Championships Final.
Show Jumping - First Place
Congratulations to Alice, who finished in 1st place for show jumping at the regional qualification tournament
Fencing First Place
Congratulations to Noemi who won 1st place in Fencing at the regional qualification tournament
Rhythmic Gymnastics
Many congratulations to Ginevra who competed at the Rhythmic Gymnastics National Championships and finished first in the Pairs Ball event, making her the National Champion.
Fencing Regionals
Congratulations to Lorenzo for achieving second place in the regional qualifications for Fencing.
Fencing Qualification
Well done to Matteo who finished in 3rd place in fencing at the regional qualification tournament
Tennis Triumph
Congratulations to Roberto who won the Sondrio round of the FIT Kinder Tennis Trophy.
This means that he has also qualified for the National Finals in Rome this summer.
Roberto is part of the BSM TalentedAthletes Support Programme.
Swim Success
Congratulations to Tommaso who recorded an outstanding time of 2.04.06 for the 200m medley, placing him first in Lombardia and fifth overall in Italy for his age group.
Tennis Trophy
