School Uniform, Buses, Lunches
School Uniform
All students wear a uniform to create a sense of community and support positive behaviour at school. Parents are expected to support the uniform policy by ensuring their children are dressed and ready for school each morning.
All students from Years 7 to 13 must wear trousers, shorts or skirts in blue denim, navy blue, black or beige.
- Sixth Form (Years 12 & 13) - Blue and white striped shirt with School logo. If a jumper is worn, it must be a school jumper.
- Nursery - Year 11 - School polo shirt (short or long-sleeved) with School V-neck jumper.
The BSM uniform can be purchased or ordered directly or online from two shops in the Milan area:
LM School Uniforms - for uniform ( Nursery - Year 13)
Hobby & Volley - for PE kit ( Nursery to Year 11)
Below is a brief outline of the required school uniform; the full details including PE kit and Music Department Uniform are available on the password protected Parents' Pages.
School Buses
The School offers the school transport service through an external partner, Frigerio Viaggi company, which has been awarded the contract to provide school bus services starting from the 2025/26 Academic Year.
The Shuttle Service will be available for booking once club registrations open at the beginning of the next Academic Year. A new link will be shared at that time.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact Frigerio Viaggi directly via email at bsm@frigerioviaggi.com or by phone at 0362 350363.
School Lunches
The School uses Pellegrini Catering Services, a long established Italian food caterer.
All students from Nursery to Year 11 have lunch on the School site. They have the option of bringing a packed lunch or of taking a school lunch.
A Food Quality Coordinator monitors the variety, nutritional value and tastiness of the food served. The coordinator liaises with Pellegrini's own nutritionist and staff and the BSM Friends Lunch Group to produce the best menu for our students within the parameters of the Lombardia Nutritional Guidelines for Schools.
Sixth Form students (Years 12 and 13) can either have a school lunch or go out to a local cafe to eat, with written parental permission. School lunches are billed termly. Students use a swipe card to register for lunches. Lunches cost €6,45 per meal.
The School also runs a Cafe Bar service at morning break, when students can purchase a drink and a pastry. There are also vending machines around the School site.
