Welcome from the Principal

I am delighted to welcome you to The British School of Milan.

With an established presence in Milan and a growing global reputation for academic excellence, we are extremely proud of our record of achieving exceptional outcomes for our pupils.

At The British School of Milan, education and aspiration are synonymous: we see our role as inspiring and fuelling the expectations of the young people we are privileged to educate. We challenge our pupils to be ambitious for their futures, and we know from witnessing the amazing things our alumni go on to achieve, that every child can achieve something remarkable.

We offer a superb range of academic opportunities through our rigorous curriculum as well as myriad co- and super-curricular activities and challenges, all of which are carefully curated to inspire curiosity and creativity. By challenging pupils both inside and outside the classroom, we support them to develop confidence, to build robust and resilient character, and to become extraordinary life-long learners.

At BSM we work hard to create a safe environment in which young people can step outside their comfort zones, learn to take risks, foster self-belief and self-awareness, and develop collaboration, initiative and resilience. We believe that young people flourish academically when they feel a sense of belonging, that excellent pastoral care underpins a great academic education, and that forging a close working partnership with parents is key to a school's success.

We look forward to working with you, to getting to know you better, and are confident that you will soon feel a valued member of our remarkable community.
